Our Story
Over the Years
This is a great place to share your background and introduce yourself to your customers. You can talk about how you got into farming, the history of your farm, where your farm name came from, or any education or experiences that shaped your journey. You might also share why you chose the farming practices you use today, or a moment that inspired you to pursue a more sustainable approach.
The more specific and personal you are, the easier it is for visitors to connect with what you do. There’s no right or wrong way to tell your story — this space is simply for people to get to know the farmer behind the food. Try not to overthink it. Write in your own voice, be honest, and focus on what makes your farm and your values unique.

Our Practices
Years ago, we started rotational grazing for our cattle. This means our pastures are split into small paddocks, and we move the cattle from paddock to paddock. This allows them to constantly have access to the highest quality grasses and water sources. This practice also allows the grass and soil to recover once the cows are moved to the next paddock. It takes about 45 days before they are cycled back to the first paddock, plenty of time for regrowth and recovery.
We continually work to raise our cattle as holistically as possible. Part of this is never using growth hormones and having no routine use of antibiotics.
In addition, we raise our own corn and soybeans. We chop the corn to make sileage to feed our cattle through the winter. We supplement this with hay baled out of our pastures. We also use the corn and soybeans to grind a feed ration that we finish our beef shares out on, meaning they have access to outstanding feed stuffs their whole life here.
One last practice we are proud of is retaining the most promising heifers each season to constantly improve the genetics (Wagyu/Angus cross) we have. It's a joy to see the babies grow and become moms and start a new generation here on the farm.
